2020 PETITE SIRAH

This special wine comes from the oldest vines on our home estate, Wine Creek Ranch. They were planted in the early- to mid-1970s in the traditional style of the time as Head Trained, Spur Pruned. Known simply as Block 9, these vines over the passing decades have been lovingly nurtured and, when Mother Nature looks kindly on us, we produce a limited amount of this offering.

Sensory Notes
This wine has a beautiful, intense purple hue and a rich, structured body. On the nose, you'll notice prominent aromas of plum and blueberry, accented by a touch of black pepper and just a hint of black tea. On the palate, full yet balanced tannins grip your tongue and transition smoothly to a wonderful note of fresh blueberry pie. The long, elegant finish has a delicate undertone of dark chocolate, making you crave another sip.

Pair it perfectly with hearty grilled meats of all kinds or robust mushroom-based dishes!
