2016 Heintz Pinot Noir
Russian River Valley
Heintz Ranch has been owned and operated by the Heintz family since 1912. The site, located on an exposed ridge, experiences warmer temperatures in an otherwise cool region, which produces wines of richness and tension. This coastal Pinot Noir offers a balance of striking aromatics, a diversity of varietal flavors and a mouth-filling finish.
Bouquet of cherry, anise and redwood tips, complemented with earthy notes with time in the glass. Silken texture on entry, cranberry and dried floral commingle on the palate. Hints of bay and resin, and a soft layer of tannins underpin the core of red fruit.
